okok...APPEARANCE...the main idea for my blog update today...hehe...

looks do matter to everyone...there are some ppl who say they don't care. like me. but surely there are times when people care about their appearance!! i do!! eg when i attended sister's rom the other day... carefully putting on mascara and blusher...i wanna look my best so i won't embarrass my family~* =)

people. u must understand. this is the second time i m typing this. i typed really long already..can be said the longest ever update. left with only the last sentence or so. and mum came into the room and switched off the socket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! everything on my pc gone! i teared!!!!! ok nvm...

i don't bother to dress up or doll up in school...just jeans and tee or denim skirt and tee..very lock kok la..no wonder good frens with ryan and josh. all same pattern. haha!! its school......u know. to study...erm for me is try to study... =P and i always say i don't care...in school. really.. unless i am in high spirits or going out after school then i will bother.. i will put on make-up when i go town or visiting someone's hse...it's polite not to scare ppl when u visit them ya know? haha..joking..but it's polite to put on make-up when u meet someone for a date or visit. roughly get the idea la huh.. hehe.. as for relatives--> don't care again...haha... =P

recently, ppl often ask me whether i "xiu4 mei2"...erm something to do with shaping the brows. and i will reply "no" and gladly explain it..haha..not ashamed. i will say i draw my eyebrows because i trimmed my brows into a better shape for drawing them..then they look rather short...so i draw them longer.. that's for the brows. as for the pimple problem, i will put on concealer whenever i go out..even to school.. these 2 actions are taken to make myself look normal...haha..normal like normal ppl...

maybe something is missing and different from the first draft. but can't rem la. arghhhh...

as for the dressing...haha..nus is a good place for fashion show~* u see the good ones...u see the bad ones... you see the bad ones trying to imitate the good ones and end up looking worse. wahahha... =P (actually the "bad" refers to "ok" la..it's for the effects.......!)

okie to the most popular topic!! Slim, plump or fat...aiyah. the size. everyone wanna be slim...i want also!! mentioned about losing weight so many times in my blog but i always fail~ haha...food is my greatest love yet greatest enemy........how sad... (just ate sushi buffet yesterday somemore...hehe..)

i was once the underweight girl in pri 6... only 37.5kilos when i was 162cm. now i only grew 3cm taller but more than 15 kilos heavier!! talking about it makes me feel sad........hahahha.. told yy my waistline is 28inches.. yy said i was bluffing her. no. i m really 28inches... erm no. rephrase. my waist is. not me..haha.. i am an "all-rounder" =p from front view and side view, the waist looks equally round... !! and yy said it's not correct to use "all-rounder" this way.....haha....very fun today..!!

see. i forgot what i typed the 1st time. now anyhow jump~

my haircut...some ppl say it's good. some say my long hair was nicer...haha... sis asked me to cut it because she said she's tired of seeing me with long hair...actually i was too. if my hair was the nice and long kind i don't mind la. but mine was similar to grass already...dry~ ~ ~ but was scared to change hairstyle...but i trust sis..(i always do...she's so pretty...) so i went ahead.. =) up till now, i can say i m very satisfied. although sometimes my hair looks really messy...=P ryan said i look better with short hair...that was really nice...but he was very cute also la. i will talk about tt later. cindy also said i look more refreshed... benghong said it looked good.. godmum said good too. =) i told sis that i received compliments about the hair thing and she said "see, those ppl who knows how to see will say that.." haha..yeah yeah. once again show that her view was correct. long hair =feminine. i lost that already but short hair that brings about a refreshening look is quite a good idea for me! one thing. short hair makes the face rounder... haha.. but!!! the lesson is..."dare to make changes" =)

ryan (nus friend cum great js projectmate) is one person i trust. his views and perspective of course. erm his person also la. hahaha..thanks man..

let's take a look at this.

ryan: "eh violet. u know something? i think u leave short hair right, ur face looks rounder."

me: "haha..i know...cos i grew fatter mah.."

ryan: "wahaha...u not worried meh?"

me: "i try not to. haha..so must grow back long hair right...no prob! it's growing back already!"

ryan: "haha..lose weight la."

me: "i trying ma.. new year leh!!"

ryan: "i think u short hair look better..."

me: "huh!?!? then how?? u arh.. tell me short hair face round, and long hair not nice.. faints."

ryan: "ya la. so go lose weight plus keep short hair...wahahha.."

see...and i totally agree with him... must lose weight...who wanna have a round face?? "wo ye bu xiang arh~" hahaha.. i wanna go on diet and resist oily food. and guess what. mum cooked deep-fried pork ribs..the ones i like tonight!! because jason n sis are back for dinner...i tot i would eat alot. but mum switched off the socket and my pc and i lost everything...and i lost appetite. haha..blessing in the disguise of misfortune?? lidat use one? hahah..

i was eating my sandwich as i walked into social work lecture today..was in quite a hurry so i ate all 4 pieces together..but i ate very siwen-ly!! and huifen asked why i ate by biting into all 4 pieces...haha...she said i am the first girl she has seen doing that...eh..ok la. first lo..i was hungry mah..=P then as i sat down in the lecture hall, my sandwich fell apart and the outer piece and tuna fell onto one level lower than where i was sitting...huifen and yy kept laughing..cos i was kneeling down picking up the crumps, tuna, and the bread. hahaha...quite funny la. ppl were watching but nvm...i m a girl with very strong sense of "gong de xin" =P hehe...knelt before the girl in front of me even...the 3 of us had fun...jeanie was not with us. she missed some jokes...but nvm jeanie! we'll tell ya!! =) we were laughing quite a lot before the lecture started. i was the more lame one. fridays turn me into lamer. anyway if u wanna be a better person, u may wanna say i m the funnier one. hoho.."nuh"=ner .."nus" = nurse.. "neh"=neh damn lame la..jeanie...we will tell u this. see ur reaction. =P

now to the topic of dressing attire!!!!! as the 3 of us walked out to the busstop, we discussed the dressing attire of university girls... i started talking about girls wearing hipsters and really low-waist bottoms. i was sitting in 'hell' part of canteen and when i looked up to 'earth', i saw this girl just to the right of me wearing low-waist jeans. and her undie was sticking out way too much. it was really hard not to notice... =P so huifen, me and yy started talking about girls revealing the butt line. is that what u call it? haha anyway... oh it's butt crack!! yeah? we stressed that it's ok to wear hipsters! but make sure it doesnt turn out looking obscene and bad. huifen said g-strings ok..haha..me and yy think otherwise...but i believe all of us are good girls la. jeanie also.. =) huifen said something like actually seeing these kinda revealing of undies is a turnoff for guys. not turn-on. haha!! okie..i will carry out survey...=P first i will ask ryan! then we talked about girls wearing racer backs but purposely leaving those bra straps out when they are wearing the "crossable" straps kind...that one i like to criticize la.. hehe.. girls...bitching.. huifen mentioned the mariah carey thing..also very funny...trust me. this is a very interesting topic... "girls' attire"

i took the same bus with huifen..she's very nice to talk to... =) nus..a place full of exciting views and friendly people (although some look really qian bian k..haha..) i think all universities are like that... =) everything is good when u minus away the stress that starts to pile up after mid-term breaks..... haha..

haha..dear brina...nice talking to u this afternoon!! today is friday...erm..joseph is my friend la.. haha..yeah liked him before.. oh no. now still like him...as a friend~* haha.. my heart has been left empty for quite some time..the recent one don't count. it's like a...shi1 ce4. hoho.. and when i start to sit down and think about stuff seriously, friends and family matters mOre~ yes. more!!! i am having quite a good time now..haha..in school...everyone starts to feel the stress ...me...eh...i think i ought to feel it soon!! hehe..

and miss merrilyn likes to tease me and benghong...why arh??? stupid zeyan also... 2 yrs already still miss doing that... haha... what to do..

i will have to write a great deal today...quite many stuff to talk about..hee...chatterbox. first!!! rom of sister and my jie fu on monday the 21st!! jie-fu.... "jeff"... ok...not funny. rebecca & jason... may they have a blissful marriage~* yeah... the whole event was so sweet. i m a crybaby... din really cry out. but had the urge to tear for 2 times!! tears in my eyes...mum said she din feel anything when she witnessed the whole thing...eh???? ok...either she's weird or i m. haha! when they signed the cert in front of the damn serious-looking guy. dunno what to address him. forgot. and when my jie-fu sang love song to my sister in the chalet...oh....so touching these 2 scenes...now i feel like tearing again...=P love song sang to you by your beloved...so sweet...

and i was in charge of taking the photos!! hehe...not bad leh my skills...the pictures came out well and really nice!! those shaky and blur ones not i take one. haha! super singapore-english...brina frowning eh? haha.. they are all in this erm i would say cute photo album of sis... she looked really beautiful that day......... =) alright alright. she even said it herself lo. haha...faint... mum said i looked pretty too. she added "don't look fat mah" haha!! okok...

the food at the buffet was nice too!! heee....food!!! my greatest joy...but i think i will be missing it soon..... why? erm too long a post. i will say it in the later post~

yeah...just talked for about 3 hours with joseph...he's ok already...more or less...after talking to me, of course will be happy ma...haha! good to hear him say he enjoyed talking to me....i enjoyed too... =) my friend for 2 years plus... now i get to know him all over again... and i m really glad!! all the best joseph!!!

12 more hours to sister's rom...she's packing her stuff. i m typing... now it's 3am in the morning..haha..we're crazy!! my dearest sister...she's getting married!! hahaha.... blessed with love!!! jason and her...hope they will be forever in love... =)

and something upset me a few hours ago.. i dunno. just felt sad. but of cos everything resumed to normal after talking to joseph for so long! haha yeah!! erm it's this. i thought i found the mr. scarecrow and merry xmas in my tag board ard x'mas time...i asked him. he denied.. i hope it's not him...if not...i m disappointed....

okies. i m in high spirits!!!! wahhaha....i hope joseph will be too!! for the rest of his singlehood period!! =)

yeah here i cOme to blog...!!!

fun fun fun!! at my er-yi house... =) i ate a lot...the steamboat..haha..wendy and i ate for sooo long... we were the winners..hoho! played cards.. erm. i lost money this time..haha.. but i felt happy..that's what the game was for!! i received my pay on saturday too...hehe...bought 2 cds straight. stefanie's and ken hirai's!!! finally....... =P

was invited to my godmum's husband's elder bro's house on sunday!! haha...complicated?! i swear!!!! that's the biggest house i've ever seen!!!!!!!!! there's a swimming pool...and basement carpark...3 storey-high house...a big ktv room on the 1st floor...(damn nice and cool) 5 bedrooms on the second floor (each having a balcony and toilet) and finally a place for wine and mahjong on the 3rd floor...leading to the biggest private balcony i've ever seen...hahaha...my aunite said "bu neng zhu, kan kan dou shuang" (although we are not able to live in such a house, it feels good just to be able to be here once) really....and our dear weiyang (a guy whom i used to play with when we were kids) seem to be really enjoying his home until he din realize his is not a normal house lo..haha..they have 3 cars. and now they are buying 2 more....jiu ming arH~*

oh and i must say!!! i love their dog!! husky...wOohooS!! so handsome!!! so big....and when uncle suggested i take him for a walk. i did...and he walked so fast until i seemed to be dragged by him... he's so handsome...cool dog. hee..and godmum's dog. haha..gigi grew so fat!!! and still very blur!! haha...so cute...

today!! i made new friends!! chuan zhi...christine...zhijin (i can't rem his name well...) yeah yeah yeah...i laughed a lot during today's jap class...so fun!!! i was one of the 3 pupils in class who don't have 5-day week. and when mrs. taniguchi asked us. we had to reply which day we are free.. the 2 gals said onli 1 day...when it was my turn, i said "geitsuyoobi to mokuyoobi", when ppl heard the "to"(and) they gasped!!! haha...then mrs. taniguchi eyes became wide..haha!! she said "ehhh~ iidesu ne!!"(woah...that's so good) =PpP and i really had a great laugh listening to brandon telling me his hp number in japanese...! it was fun asking for the hp number thing........=)

everybody!! happy chinese new year~* the second day of new year will be over in another few minutes' time...so fast...ppl get so excited and busy for nearly one month before the festival and here it is, coming to an end so soon..

jeanie arh...i think menstual cramp got ppl will faint la...if it's really terrible and someone can't take it just like u, they will just faint lo..haha.. just that we nvr meet anyone like that. i tried something similar in pri 5. pain until just had to curl up in my seat for one whole period. not moving. haha...like dead. everyone went for p.e lesson except me and jiehan(she also kena)...but after that no more bad experience... hehehe... u just have to take care in the future lo.. i replied coldly that day cos quite sian diao. i wanted to go back to secondary school very much. end up no company... sorry arh.. then i got to know another thing the next day..haha! someone went back to sec sch without telling me.. and when i told him no one will be there, he said he's in nhss already...cute leh.. the school gate was supposed to close at 11am. so i couldn't be there in time too. but i saw the students coming out at 12 plus leh...arghh...was i cheated by the school..?

i have gained erm...1 kilo!! arg...just 2 days...i din eat bah kwa!! where did all the meat come from?? now i know eh... cookies---->meat. yeah they can transform. u know what? i need lots of veggie and water....i need to clear my system~* hiak hiak...

the new year day itself was ok la...like jean said. the atmosphere is thinning each year!! ppl arrive later and later...but leave earlier and earlier..i reached grandma's at 12 noon and i was the second! everyone was assembled at 3 plus. and all of us left by 11pm...in the past it was all late into 1 or 2 am that all of us leave.. this year is different.. only two oranges. to grandma. no grandfather. a few angpaos missing because of the customs.. of course the atmosphere is different... someone is missing....

the adults continued their mahjong games...the younger ones still had their game of poker...haha..me and my cousin...we cheated the younger cousins of their *yi mao liang mao* erm. their coins la.. and the aunties of their dollars... we were the what-u-call-that. *zhuang jia* we came with 4 bucks and we won 16 bucks in one hour...as i always said. zhuang jia won't lose money...they will only win!! hehe..somemore my luck so good yesterday... =P

food was good!! haha...i was eating like all day long. damn it la... oh no abalone though...that will come onli on saturday!! we are going for the annual *er-yi jia dinner*!!! my 2nd aunt's house..it's a yearly thing..good food. good poker games...oh no...i sound like a gambler...haha..

new year day 2!! it was not wasted like other years...i watched *constantine*!!! yeah!! watched it with jeremy chua wei yang...erm "choi wai yong" hahaha! yeah, quite weird. good thing that he asked me to go out. if not both of us might just have fungi growing on us today.. nice show!!! yeah...really nice...and funny!! haha..keanu reeves is a mr. birdman in the show~* and i ate pastamania for the first time...nice what...it tasted good to me. i am not very picky when it comes to food m i? haha..ps and jean should know it best. forgot who said it. i always eat my food as if it taste really good..haha.. if i say some food is bad. i guess it's reeeeaaallly bad. wahaha.. erm. another thing to add. yuki is really very adorable...!! very cute..why yuki? because andrew wanted to call him snowie. but jeanie and i said too girlie. and jeanie wanted a jap name? haha..yeap..there it goes! =)

i went shopping alone yesterday!! at tiong bahru shopping centre. the feeling of shopping alone is not that comfortable...i think i m just not used to it. but i will get used to it...=) i bought a short skirt and a purple top from *DoubLe index* the skirt is pretty!! color was stated "purple" but it looks kinda grey. easier to match clothes... i found a way to make it shorter...but the original length is fine already...spent $50+ on these 2 items. then i headed home..mum din get mad at me at all!! haha..perhaps it's because she knows i have the income to allow me to spend; i took up 2 more tuition kids from evonne..

and today, i just went for my 1st tuition session for madeline and javier. they are so tiny and short. haha...cute!! they really had to lift their heads to look up at me!! i think they found me a nice tutor to bully already...as in they are not scared of me.. good or bad? hmm.. and i lost my way both when i went and left. argh...walked such a long and quiet and dark way...i even passed by maddie's house..haha..i took the wrong way la...dumb.

had a long chat with joseph...he's ok i guess.. and looking at their MSN nicks. i think things are on the bright side...=)

rights. gotta read the readings for my history tutorial!! and i shall sleep after that! oh no..i din practise my jap conversations...and i look like a panda man.........
